In 1912 approximately 40 people with links to the Greater Manchester area set foot on RMS Titanic in 1912. From her delivery from Belfast to Southampton, to her eventual disaster on the night of April 14th 1912.
At present Lauren Jaye Gradwell is researching the lives of each individual to find out who these people were and how they found themselves onboard the fated ship, and what happened to their families after the disaster.
To obtain information Lauren has visited numerous Archives and Local Study Centers, Libraries and relevant locations, in the hope of creating a published book on this subject. If you are a descendant of person on the RMS Titanic from the Greater Manchester area, or you think you can help do please get in contact.
